Founding Director
Richard Pett
I founded Riccolo in September 2025 with a clear focus on premium technology for modern homes and businesses: systems that feel simple for the client, but are carefully designed, installed and programmed behind the scenes.
Before starting Riccolo, I built my experience around smart home automation, programming, AV, networking and security — supported by a strong family background in the industry. My father, Kevin, has run the family security business with 40 years of experience in the security industry alone.

One of my bigger dreams for Riccolo is to use smart technology in a way that can genuinely help people live and work more safely, comfortably and independently. Beyond luxury homes, hospitality spaces and premium automation, I would love to create thoughtful solutions for people who need their environments to work around their lifestyle, movement and daily routines.
With systems such as Control4, smart lighting, security, sensors and carefully designed automation, I believe a property can do more than look impressive. It can help light up areas before someone moves through them, make everyday actions easier, improve safety, and give family members, carers, staff or trusted people greater peace of mind where appropriate.
That long-term purpose is a big part of why I care about this industry. I want Riccolo to grow into a company that not only delivers beautiful, high-quality technology, but also uses that technology to make homes, businesses and everyday environments easier, safer and more supportive for the people who need it most.
